About the Book
For more than a quarter century, Christmas has meant it was time to create a new poem. This small volume, The Conductor’s Call, has collected most of those poems that were originally a part of the Christmas cards sent to friends and acquaintances by the author and his wife. For those who don’t celebrate Christmas, this collection also includes a selection of the author’s works that touch a variety of subjects. These poems represent a new poetic voice from an author who has been at work for many years.
About the Author
For Tom Davis, poetry is an avocation. An engineer by education, his working career has been spent mostly in the construction and real estate development businesses. The experiences reflected in his poetry come from his travels, his volunteer service, and most importantly, from the lives of his children and grandchildren. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife, Winnie, and his two dogs.
