This story relates to the authors happy childhood. It is a cheerful story told by way of Petra, its main character. Using the sights, sounds, and aromas from her own memory she captures the essence of this delightful tale for her young readers. This book also invites you to remember a personal favorite story and to share it with your friends of all ages.

About the Author

Lilia Enriquez Solano was born and raised in Michoacan, Mexico. She came to California with her family when she was twenty-one years old, to continue with her education. She obtained a certificate in Early Childhood Education. In addition, she completed several classes at the University of Ixtlahuaca, in Mexico. She discovered her calling as an author of children’s books when she realized that she had a gift and desire to share the treasures of her heart. Lilia is in love with nature, family, and life.
