About the Author

Gayle Irwin has strong compassion and respect for animals and nature. Growing up on a farm in Iowa and later living near Yellowstone National Park gave her an intense appreciation for God’s creation and His creatures. Pets have always been an important part of Gayle’s life, and she believes they can teach humans many things if a person simply opens one’s heart. Gayle currently lives in Wyoming with her husband Greg, their dog Sage, and two cats named Murphy and Bailey. Gayle, Greg and Sage enjoy spending time together exploring the vast richness of the Rocky Mountain area.
