This is the first installment; in what is sure to be a long franchise of contemporary poetry, from a young deeply-inspired talent. Inspired by the classical & contemporary poetics, the beatnik generation, jazz, rock, folk, satyrs, shaman, beggars, wisemen, ranting madmen, the blues, a wide array of philosophers, religious & spiritual explorations, ancient eroticism, intricate murals of cinema & paintings. He as in all of the greats seeks out “the grand elusive mysticism” that still faintly revels in our modern society. His palate to encompass & forge any & everything is absolutely copious & eclectic beyond his years. He uses art from all forums to inspire his new found clarity & ever-lingering distortions. From Embryo to Angel is a journey; a vision of birth from a poet’s perspective on his path to ascension.

About the Author

Author’s Biography Pablo Gabriel Via Franco (1983-Present) was born in San Angelo, Texas but had already made the transition to San Antonio, Texas by the age of three. From humble beginnings & with no further education beyond high school, Pablo showed an early interest into the intellectual & profoundly artistic; stemming from the renaissance. As a young artist he exuded much talent early on; trying his hand at painting, drawing, & music, literature became a means & way of life. Struggling with young hurdles of turmoil writing became not only his lightning rod but his savior. From Embryo to Angel is the first stint in what he hopes to be a long & vigorous journey.
