About the Book
The writer invites you to get aboard the tomotris express, find a window seat, become comfortable and be prepared to take a journey back in time. You will be traveling to fantastic and simple places, on a journey promising you excitement, adventure, mystery and natural wonder.
Fasten your seat belt, because you will be shaken up by earthquakes, ride down the rough turbulent waters of the Alfios River, hike on the colorful countryside, produce sweet raisins, attend a panygiri and hear the Sunday church bells. You will make your own potent wine, celebrate a traditional Easter and Christmas, fly a kite on Kathara Deftera, and sample some of the most wonderful foods and desserts on this side of the planet. If you have time, you will attend the one room schoolhouse, meet a brave teacher, stop at the inviting kafenio for some Greek coffee, and taste the refreshing cool water of the Kato Vrisi.

About the Author
About the author Georgia Panagopoulos is a senior accountant for a large insurance company. She has always dreamt of writing a book, and recently has picked up writing as a hobby. “Dad, Tell Me A Story…” is her first book. She is simultaneously writing “A Marathon Of Change”, to be completed by the end of this year, and “A Medley of Short Stories And Poems”. When not writing, Georgia’s other passion is running. She has run three marathons, including the classic marathon in Athens, and hundreds of other road races. She also enjoys traveling, reading and listening to music. She lives in Berlin Connecticut with her husband Ted, daughter Angela and pet parakeet, Pip. About the illustrators Athina Loveland is a graduate of Salve Regina University with a degree in Graphic Design and Photography. She is employed at a financial services corporation. On her spare time, Athina also does freelance art work. She lives in Newington Connecticut with her husband Eric, her dog Staley and bunnies Mac and Cheese. Her hobbies include snowboarding, soccer and football. (Go Bears!!!) Angela Panagopoulos is a sixth grader at McGee Middle School in Berlin Connecticut. She enjoys drawing, playing the guitar, shopping, snowboarding, listening to music and being on the phone with friends.
