About the Book

Violence in America has escalated and has finally caught up to this once peaceful community of Tompkinsville, New York. Two students were attacked at school leaving one dead and one injured. The accused fled the scene, but Jim isn’t fully certain that his friend Charlie is the madman that Frankie pointed out. The media and society portrays Charlie as a danger to the public but should Jim stand by his friend or believe what is being told to him? Risking everything, Jim must go against his friends, society and the authorities to discover the truth and put an end to the violence. His journey to find the truth ends with a school hostage stand-off that leaves another dead and others asking the question why?

About the Author

Jay Jax is a native of the Catskill Region in NY where he resides with his family and dog, Jasper Jax. He has been in the medical field for over fifteen years. Working in healthcare he has moved and lived in many states but California will always hold a special place in his heart. The small desert town of Blythe and the people were his inspiration for this story. People may come and go, but friendships last forever. Jay Jax is also the author of Silent Eyes.
