GRAMMEE IS EXHAUSTED!!! JOEY IS CONCERNED !!! Joey is very concerned that Grammee has forgotten that Christmas is " not´bery far´" Joey mind is flashing back to the great Grammmee Celebrations of years past. Joey then conjures up the great disappointment his ten cousins are going to have on Christmas Eve. So his 6 year old "bigger than life and simple as that" idealism spurs him into superkid action. Answering his plea, Grammee´s feeble efforts to give just a little more releases magical holiday spirtis. From there a rolicking romp with well-intentioned help finds Joey having a hard time controling the situations of sharing and cooperation. Educators find the vocabulary building, intergenerational relationships,ryhming and parts of the book to be very positive. This 44 page picture book with its story telling colored images is one that can be enjoyed by children when read to or while living the story alone. Not only is it a Christmas Story but a story to be shared by dhildren from two to ninety two at any time of the year.
