About the Book
Born to cotton farmers, Lena and Colvin Terry on May 6, 1935, Bobby K. Terry, Sr., was born. As a child, I was a dreamer. When I was nine years old, I would work out in the cotton fields, chopping cotton. While leaning on a hoe handle, I would always watch the birds. Something about them sparked my imagination, and while I watched them flying around in the air, I dreamed that some day I, too, would be able to fly like the birds (in an airplane, of course). That dream of mine has come true. Over 45 years and over 40, 000 hours of flying time, my family and I prefer to fly anywhere as compared to driving. Not only have I been blessed to receive almost all aviation ratings available, I have been fortunate to receive three college degrees from New Mexico State University of Texas and Texas A&M University. Also, I am a retired Army Captain (26 years of service.) I am blessed with a wonderful wife, Jeanice Terry. I am also blessed with three children, four grandchildren, and one great-grand daughter. Jeanice and I are both members of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, of Paris, TX. Sinerely, Bobby K. Terry, Sr.
