About the Author
Harry Krane, B.S. M.A., a World War II, decorated veteran, was a teacher, supervisor and administrator of Industrial Technology and Director of Materiel for the New York City Board of Education. He was also an adjunct professor at NYU, having developed a unique course in Methods of Teaching, and taught it in the Graduate School of Education. He retired in 1984 and was Dean of Education for Grumman Data Systems Institute. As a curriculum developer in technology, author of magazine articles and lecturer on Career Education, he developed educational curricula for the New York City School System and innovative programs. He revised and created courses for Grumman’s two college campuses. These were awarded University Credit by the New York State Board of Higher Education. Retiring to Florida in 1987, he became Executive Director of The Institute of New Dimensions, a not-for–profit program housed at Palm Beach Community College. He was elected to that Board of Directors as a member and officer. He lectured there for seventeen years.
