About the Book

The story of Oliver the Alligator is filled with bunches of words that start with sound-alike sounds in the same sentence. It's fun to READ ALOUD! Moms, dads, brothers, sisters and sitters are dandy at doing it. Can you read too? Maybe you will like to listen to yourself when you say the story out loud. As Oliver's feathered friend would say, "Do it yourself," directed the duck.

About the Author

Lee Seeger graduated from the University of Texas and has taught art and English in schools of the South Texas oil and ranching area. Later she wrote a column and edited part-time, then became publisher and later owner of the county newspaper. Her newspaper career spanned more than twenty years. She and her husband have three grown children.
