About the Book

Written thoughts and short stories, of my observation of the reality or imagination of life, set in a humorous, satiric, serious and/or silly style of manner. At least I think so! Also a few short stories, some of what are in a descriptive form. Hoping to leave enough leeway for the readers to imagine or decide for themselves.

About the Author

My first name is Michael and my last name starts with an M. So, that’s how I got my pen name Michael M. (See how simple that is?) I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois, and am the fourth child of six. I’m also the only boy. Age wise, I am almost dead center. With my eldest sister being approximately 5 years older and my youngest sister approximately 5 years younger than me. People ask me how I survived with five sisters. It’s simple. They tolerated me. Plus I also had a lock on my bedroom door.
