About the Book

This is one among a series of African Stories. African fork stories are not meant to be to be entertaining only but wisdom is passed from one generation to another. Monkey was a friend to all animals in the jungle. However in his persuit for ripe mangoes he ends up in trouble with the mean Crocodile who wants to eat his heart. It took not only wisdom to escape, but also forgiveness for the monkey to survive and rise to honor and dignity in the Jungle.

About the Author

About the Author: The Author was born and raised in Kenya. From relatives and friends he has a collection of African stories. He strongly believes that even today folk stories can be a great way to teach children wisdom and culture. Different animals were used to portray certain characteristics and traits in African Stories. The Author is a graduate at Crowder College and resides in Joplin, Missouri.
