About the Book
Matt was born into a wealthy family, and he had everything a boy growing up could need. He had the right clothes, the best schools, a beautiful home, but his father was determined that he keep both feet fi rmly on the ground, and made sure he didn’t feel he was better than anyone else. His father also taught him the proper respect for money, and if he wanted something special, such as a bicycle or a special toy, he had to earn the money to buy it. He did odd jobs, mowed yards, delivered papers, and worked at whatever it took to get what he wanted.
All those lessons helped mold him into the man he became. When he went to college he met and married a young lady and for the first five years they had an ideal life. Then she contracted Leukemia, and after her death he took time off from the family steel mill to get his head back to normal. He went to Europe and traveled from England down to Italy and learned a valuable lesson that there was a big difference between conditional and unconditional love.
