About the Author
William Woodruff was born on July 8, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in North Carolina. His father was a naval surgeon and his mother was a college-educated housewife. William was the oldest of three male children. He attended Duke University and graduated with a BA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1963. After studying law for one year at Hastings Law School and graduating from the London School of Film Technique, he moved to Hollywood, CA and started a career as a film editor. Eventually, he became a poet and short story writer and has been published all over the English-speaking world.
