About the Book

Meet Jake, who emigrated from London to do his college degree in America. Now he’s a successful architect who seemingly has everything: a big house, a nice car, and plenty of money. There’s just one thing missing: he’s lonely as hell and has no one to love.

Enter Catherine, the most unlikely girlfriend he could’ve imagined. There are lots of reasons why Jake shouldn’t choose her: a psycho mother, an over-protective cousin…oh yeah, and she just so happens to be underage. But Jake has never met anyone quite like Catherine before, so what can he do when his heart overrides his brain, but fall hopelessly in love with the girl?

But love, Jake finds, comes at a price, and he’s not so sure he’s ready to pay it.

About the Author

Angela has traveled extensively throughout the United States and has lived in at least six different states, but calls California her home. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, but her real love and vocation is writing.
