About the Book

Throughout my career as a telecommunications professional, I have heard so many people say that their life now would be entirely different if someone had helped them when they were young - to understand how important education really is and the impact it has on your life. So in my own way, I humbly offer this collection of tips, tools and experiences for middle school students with the purpose of helping them understand their own amazing abilities and their role in obtaining education so that they may successfully pursue their own dreams.

About the Author

Voncia Molock grew up in a place that Grandma Hazel likes to call “the Garden Spot of the World” - a place slightly better known as the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She graduated as Valedictorian in 1984 from North Dorchester High School and went on to receive a BS degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology as well as a MS degree in Management from Purdue University. She credits education with taking a plain, ordinary girl from “the Garden Spot of World” to all over the world and back. Voncia is married with 4 children and she has returned to “the Garden Spot of the World” with a passion for helping students understand the value of education.
