About the Book

Lissa Mitchell is nearing the end of her college days and very near to achieving her goal of becoming a school teacher. Suddenly, she is being stalked, attacked and her life threatened. No one knows who is behind these attacks or why.

The police are working hard on the case but the persons responsible are very elusive. One policeman in particular, Tim Wilkinson, who Lissa finds very attractive, is working with the detectives to uncover the mystery.

After the young criminal makes a disastrous mistake the police are able to arrest him. Why then, is Lissa shot at again after the criminal is in jail?

About the Author

June Conklin, author of “The Co-ed and the Cop” has always liked to write but there was no serious effort made to do so until after her children were grown. Then she started a newsletter four times a year for her large extended family with a few of her original poems thrown in during the process. Shortly after that, she started writing her first book “Mandy, My Love”. That was quite a learning experience, she says. Although the book was not in a marketing program she sold enough copies to get her thinking about another book. Thus “The Co-ed and the Cop” was born.
