About the Author

Kimberly Sessoms was born in Honolulu Hawaii, she is the daughter of a dreamer and a warrior. She first became interested in writing and poetry in the 8th grade, when her teacher Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Jones urged her to get into competitions and submit her work for awards. Now in college, she is in a club entitled Couture Productions. This group is known for its many sectors, Kimberly was involved in the Spoken Word sector. With this club, she finally had the courage to step out and perform her work, with personaility, allowing herself to adapt to the character she is trying to portray.
