About the Book

Having no one to turn to, no one in her life or to show her love. The only person in Kayla Smith life to ever show her love is her grandma. When she loses her grandma, Kayla gives up on life completely. She’s tired of her father’s abuse and can no longer take it anymore. He doesn’t show her encouragement like a real parent should instead he always finds a way to put her down and make her feel even more less of herself. Until Kayla meets this boy Mike. Whom she think she’s in “love” with. But is her love really LOVE?

About the Author

I started writing books since fourth grade. This is my very first novel that I have written and will be in series. The thing that inspired me to write is music and the encouragement I receive from others. I’m currently in high school that I attend in Yonkers and live there as well. I was born in the city of Mount Vernon. I enjoy reading and writing of course. I do write a little poetry as well. The type of writing I enjoy is creative writing because it’s just the joy of getting out there and becoming many different characters. I do soon hope to write much different type of genres books besides fiction and get the same feeling as I do for creative writing.
