Leading with the Heart is a collection of poetry written over a period of time reflecting thoughts, impressions, and memories of life. It portrays nature, love, joy, and pain and offers images of the beauty and sorrow that touch our everyday lives. It is based on lessons learned and keepsake moments that endure. Everyone may find himself in one or more of these poems.

About the Author

Patricia Franklin Lyons Pat resides in Richmond, Virginia, where she was born and raised. She has two sons and five grandsons. After thirty years, she retired from the health insurance field. She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, writing, and gardening. Her poetry has been published individually in magazines as well as in many anthologies.
