About the Book

Fourteen-year-old Melissa Golden’s life is good. She is popular, a star player on her high school basketball team, and very confident. When she finds out her parents are getting a divorce, her world is shattered. Her parents are distracted with their own mess and are not paying a whole lot of attention to what she is doing. Melissa’s admiration for boys gets out of hand. She tries to talk to her best friend Alissa about what’s going on in her life but she feels rejected by her because she is preoccupied with someone else. The only thing guiding Melissa right now is the foundational Christian values her mother has instilled in her from an early age. She knows the difference between right and wrong. Which road will she choose when faced with a difficult decision concerning an issue that goes against everything she’s been taught.

About the Author

After two marriages, two divorces, and now raising two children as a single mother; Kimmoly Rice has dedicated her life to empowering young women on their journey to woman-hood. She has a wealth of knowledge gained from lessons learned through the trials of her life. Her desire is to help women avoid making the same mistakes she made; by sharing her personal testimony, and uplifting them through the Word of God. She is a Teen Life-Coach, speaker, and author.
