About the Author
Esther C. Alexander is a poet at heart. Esther is originally from the Caribbean island of St. Lucia and currently resides in the United States. Her poems range in emotion—from the beauty of being in love to the anger felt by hate. Her first collection of published poems released in 1994 was sold out and readers have been patiently waiting for more ever since. Faces and Voices is a wonderful collection of all her works for readers’ enjoyment and is worth the wait since the 1994 publication. This book includes the original poems in addition to the many new ones which have been seasoned over time—over one-hundred works in total. They are truly poems for all times. As a career electrical and computer engineer, singer, writer, and being attentive in nature, Esther draws from a wealth of emotions, experiences, and observations to create these wonderful poems. She dares her readers to think and look beyond the surface. All will find words that are meaningful to their individual needs.
