About the Book
Rose’s poems/pictures are a delight. First the reader thinks, “Oh how nice: pretty pictures and poetry that is short enough so as not to be tedious.” Then the lovely surprise overtakes one as she realizes that the images and condensed words work together to recall one’s own experience of sensuality, awareness of self, and truth of daily experience. While some of the combinations merely elicit a smile and sensation of relaxation, others compel the reader to dig deeper into her own experience and remind her of important life realizations and lessons. A rejuvenating and refreshing read that registers on all levels of personhood: physical, spiritual, emotional, and sensual. —Tamara Kuzmenkov
