About the Author

Mountain roots run deep through the heart of Barbara L. Jent, author of The Weddin’ Day. A native of West Virginia, her family has been a part of that beautiful landscape for hundreds of years. Readers will sense her love for the ever-changing splendor of the highlands on every page of her first novel. Barbara and her husband, Larry, make their home in the foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge. They still marvel at the wonders of autumn in the mountains, and love passing on family stories to their grandchildren.
