About the Book

These poems are life experiences for myself and others. Special thanks to those who helped me reach my goals including, Family, Couchiching Reservation, family, Gary Hahn, (the artist on Book I), my neighbors, friends and all those who believed in me. This book is dedicated to all those who suffer from emotional pain.

About the Author

Valerie T. Mainville was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, a border town north of International Falls Minnesota. She was raised on the Couchiching Reservation just outside of Fort Frances, Ontario, CANADA. Her interests in poetry and song began at the age of fifteen when she began writing poetry then applied the music to the lyrics. This is a collection of several poetry books that she has accumulated throughout the years. The first of the collection is about the ups and downs in relationships. At present, she resides in New Mexico where her interests also include acting in background film. Other works in progress include short stories, poetry books, music projects and scripts. This is the beginning of a collection of her lifelong poems.
