About the Book

Just when you thought you have read enough novels with romance, suspense and drama, along comes a book that takes you aback. Just when you think you know how sweet the fruit is from your garden, this story serves as a reminder to never take any relationship for granted. This book has all the right ingredients that make for a great story; a combination of romance, suspense and inspiration; drama that will have you begging for more. It takes place in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This provocative work reveals why many lovers and ex-lovers are driven by revenge, jealousy and greed. Jonathan Graham, the trail blazing and affluent lawyer from humble beginnings discovers some damaging secrets that change his seemly perfect world. Jonathan is caught in the middle of various scandalous relationships and illicit affairs in his office. His vindictive receptionist seems to be a ring leader when it comes to drama. In a world where love is an illusion, lust is mistaken for love, and betrayal and greed flirt, there is still hope. Jesse Adams is presently completing his latest novel, Get off the Couch.
