About the Book
After checking out of the motel Alexis, Autumn and Jessica drove all day until they reached Salem. When they arrived they stopped at the first motel they seen. Like always Jessica jumped out of the van and ran into the lobby to find the brochure rack while Alexis checked them in. Jessica was pulling out brochures like a mad women, there was so much to see and do that Alexis new she had better reserve an extra night. They gathered their suitcases and settled in for the night. As Alexis laid her head on her pillow she went fast to sleep. A few minutes later she again found herself dreaming about John. He was in a court room with five judges. The courtroom was packed with people of all ages there. One judge stood up and pointed his finger at John and yelled, John We find you guilty and sentence you to hang by the neck until dead! John begged for his life as they lead him out of the courtroom. Alexis woke and she had only been asleep a few minutes she grabbed her dream journal and began writing. When she had documented what she dreamt about she tucked it under her pillow and went back to sleep. When Alexis woke up Jessica and Autumn were already dressed and ready to start the day. Alexis quickly got ready and they headed out the door with Jessica carrying all the brochures. Jessica was intend in looking at the brochures she walked right into the wall, yelling out, “I am alright!” As Alexis jumped in the driver seat laughing at Jessica when she yelled out behind her, “What’s on the agenda today?” Jessica was fumbling through the brochures when Autumn turned back to see what Jessica wanted to do, “Since our tour guide is not prepared lets go eat and she can organize her brochures.” They headed into the historical part of Salem that had several of the original buildings still standing. There were cobblestone streets and shops all up and down the road. Autumn was in heaven, “Look at all the shopping I can do!” Jessica and Alexis hated to go shopping. They both rolled their eyes at each other as they were getting out of the van. Jessica pouted sticking her lip out, “But Mom, I want to go to the museums. I really do want to try and find the Cemetery that the Proctors are buried at too.” Alexis led them into a restaurant and was worried that Jessica might be disappointed, “Jess you have to remember that there are probably a lot of cemeteries here. I don’t think it’s going to be as easy as you might think. We will go to some museums before I drag you two shopping.” They sat down and ate a quick breakfast. Jessica led them down the street following a map on a brochure to their first museum. Autumn looked in every store window as they quickly passed by the shops. They rounded a corner and saw a big sign that read Witches Museum. Jessica saw the look on Alexis’s face of disapproval, “Alexis I know what the sign says but this museum was voted the best museum in Salem. It has the history of the Salem Hysteria here.” Alexis stood back and stared at the building that looked to be a church at one time, “Alright, but you better be right. I don’t want to go to a museum that has broom Hilda on the wall.” They walked in and bought their tickets and were led into a dark room with chairs. Alexis was right it had been a church that was converted into a museum. They were setting in what looked to be the cathedral. They had different scenes sectioned off at the top of the cathedral. It was to dark to make out what they were. A young lady came out and explained that at this museum they will go through the Salem hysteria from beginning to end all in this one room. A spot light came on and it showed the first scene. It was young girls at a quilting bee. A prerecorded voice rang through the intercom system explaining that the hysteria began in the winter of 1692 when several young girls who were bored of quilting bees and nothing to do created their own excitement by listening to supernatural tales told by a West Indian slave. The girls claim
