How many FBI agents retire and become professional ventriloquists? One…Me! And that’s what this book is about. It describes my metamorphosis from investigator to entertainer. The story follows the progression from my childhood desire to be on stage and through my years as an award winning Vietnam War military photojournalist whose duties included shooting Bob Hope’s USO shows. It details my thirty-year career as an FBI agent, and concludes with a look at my present day occupation as a ventriloquist/singer/comedian. It’s a compelling and revealing glimpse into the world of an FBI agent who pursued a very different dream.

About the Author

About The Author Rick Berger is an accomplished ventriloquist and singer who had a late start on his show business career. While harboring a dream to become an entertainer, he completed a thirty-year stint as an FBI agent. Rick performs for a wide range of audiences; however, he prefers entertaining senior citizens and youngsters. In entertaining seniors, he gets the juices flowing by reminding them that they can have fun at any age. Youngsters love the silly antics of his “little friends”, who often have a message or moral to impart. His audiences consistently applaud his blend of comedy, ventriloquism and music.
