Fleeing her home in Atlanta because of a violent encounter, Lila Dawkins stumbles on the small town of Antioch, Mississippi. Lila goes to question the artist, Berniece Messer, but the woman has disappeared, leaving behind a house filled with her amazing art. While seeking the artist, Lila uncovers another mystery, one that proves far more important and changes her life forever.
About the Author
RC White has a passion for her native South, with its rich settings, its diverse characters, and its treasure of stories handed down through the generations. The daughter of an educator, she also pursued teaching as a career until several years ago when she turned to writing to fulfill a lifelong goal. Since that time, she has written several short stories, four novels, and two memoirs based on her Southern heritage. When not writing, Ruth loves spending time at her farm, where she and her husband have worked to create a habitat for birds and other wildlife.
