Winona Boyd has been writing stories for children since she herself was a child. Little Boy’s Journey with the Sunshine Umbrella is based upon her work with foster and adoptive children who seek the security of permanent families. Winona has a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in design from Howard University.
