About the Book

THE RAIN BEAT DANCE is a snapshot depiction of some of recreation activities children enjoy whether they are playing in the rain, the snow, or at the playground. It reflects a form of unity and freedom that result from such plays. The Rain Beat Dance is a celebration of friendship and bonding that children share and a common attitude towards the beauty of nature. The sweet fragrance of rain and its refreshing effects rejuvenate the hearts of the young ones as they dance and jump and enjoy the gentle drops of rain. As this book is read, it is expected that the lessons of unity, freedom and comradeship will be learned. It is my hope that the Rain Beat Dance will inspire us all to celebrate friendship through what we share in common.
