ABOUT THE AUTHOR During the course of my lifelong struggle with Drug Addiction, I ran afoul of the law and went to prison no less than six times and spent nearly nine years of my life behind bars on the installment plan. Along the way, I encountered members of the Hells Angels, the Aryan Brotherhood, and the Mexican Mafia. Either by divine intervention or sheer dumb luck, I was able to survive those encounters. I would like to believe that it was God’s hand that saw me through it so that I could tell my true life story so that others might learn from my mistakes and avoid suffering the fate of Addiction. Every Addict suffers, regardless of his or her Addiction.
