Feelings in Collection

About the Book

This book is a collection of poems I have written in my early teens up until the present in my early twenties. Most of my poems are from personal experiences. Other poems are just from my imagination, or as if I am telling another person’s story. A lot of times it has been hard to express my feelings with words. Once I discovered I could describe my feelings by writing it opened another door for me. My poems show my phases of growing up and noticing the world around me. My poems are about love, good and bad, and most important God. I hope that readers can relate to my down-to-earth poems that are not just cute little rhymes or modeled after every other poem.

About the Author

After graduating from high school I went to Blue Ridge Job Corps in Marion, Virginia. At Blue Ridge I obtained a certificate for Business Foundations and a certificate for Accounting Clerk. After Blue Ridge I went to St. Louis, Missouri to attend St. Louis Job Corps for their advanced program. Once I completed the advanced program T.C.U. (Transportation Communications Union) I had completed the Administrative Clerk course. At 22 years old I am a mother and currently living in my hometown Williamsburg, Virginia.
