About the Author

Born on February 7, 1961, and raised in California in the San Fernando Valley in Van Nuys with my sister, Susan, and my brother, Chuck, I was the youngest. My parents are and were Charles and Ada Largey. I graduated high school. Then in 1984 my father died, and I went on to take over his company—hanging wall paper—where I worked until I moved to Orange County in 1991 where I met and married my wife Nikki on May 14, 1994. We had our first child, Jordan. She was born on February 19, 1997, and then our next and last child, Riley, who was born on April 5, 2001. In 2005, we moved to Queen Creek, Arizona, and took position and moved into our home on September 29, 2005, where we reside today. Three life-changing moments for me were (1) accepting Jesus into my heart to be my lord and savior at the age of seven; (2) when I was eighteen, my dog got hit by a car and died. A newspaper reporter witnessed the accident and took pictures at the scene, in the car going to the vet, and at the vet hospital. As a result of my picture being in the newspaper, just fewer than nine hundred people inquired both at the newspaper and telephoning my home. That event proved to me that if you give people a chance, they will come through for you; and (3) my good friend reminding me what it was to be a Christian.
