About the Book

Instead of starring in the NFL, injured All-American Bart “Bulldog” Dobbins is now forced to earn his living as a rookie investigative reporter. His first assignment is exposing the plight of disabled veterans from the mid-east war. Forced to dig for the truth, he uncovers deadly outcomes surrounding veteran patients being used as research guinea pigs for an HIV vaccine to combat AIDS. As veteran study patients turn up dead or infected with the HIV virus, Bart races to unravel the deadly thread between TRIFEM (the vaccine’s maker) and the FDA. Greed, murder, and vengeance are intertwined with passion and fierce loyalty. Bart must use all his tenacity against the enemies trying to silence him, and to avoid becoming the next victim of an overdose of truth.

About the Author

Dan Michael’s professional career has encompassed private as well as federal pharmaceutical experience, including involvement in research studies. He also taught at undergraduate and graduate levels in the pharmaceutical and business management areas. He splits his time between the Virgin Islands and Florida, where he writes and bases his consulting practice.
