About the Book

This collection of poems are from many different friends and family’s ideas. One is from my ten year old granddaughter, Erin! They were given to me in hopes that I would review, edit, and publish them. It took a lot of time and effort to make some of them into a readable poem. I had to go through them line by line. I did not want to lose the message that each wanted to convey. Everyone is not a poet, but they seem to have a lot of interesting thoughts to write about. I found it comforting to know that many of them see this world as it really is. I am confident that you the reader, from young to old, will find several of these poems to ponder and relate to the intended meaning of the individual poems. Even if you don’t, they are worthy of your time to read. I believe that in a poem you can express yourself freely, which is why poems are written by many who never intend to publish the things they feel very deeply about and write them down. If you have some writings stuck away somewhere, get them out and dust them off and clean up the grammar. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you have wrote down. You may become the next poet in your time.
