About the Author
Salvatore Matthew Argentieri, known as Sammy, is 16 years old and lives in Frisco, Texas with his parents and two younger brothers. He was born in Sacramento, California and moved to Frisco in 1997. Sammy plays ice hockey and baseball and is a sophomore at Frisco High School. He is very active in many volunteer efforts in his community. He has travelled to Mexico with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in efforts to build a church for a small impoverished community, and he has travelled to Washington D.C. to support Pro-Life efforts. Sammy is very dedicated in making a difference in his community by devoting his time to those who need help. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 11, and part of his inspiration to write this children’s book was to express how easy it is for children with ADHD to lose their train of thought. Although he understands that ADHD has its challenges, he also understands that it can be a gift of creativity if channeled fittingly. He plans on attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas after he graduates from high school and would also like to study abroad for a semester. Sammy would like to be more involved in helping and educating younger children who have ADHD and hopes his book will put a smile on the faces of those who read it.
