About the Book
A Chance for Change: Sharecropper to Landowner is the true story of one Black man’s life in the twentieth century. Born in 1906 he was reared with the mind-set of slavery; yet, he clung to the belief that having an education was his bridge to psychological and fiscal freedom. His Christian ideals and relentless struggles as an educator helped him and his family to escape a poverty-stricken upbringing.
