As I read through the writings of Ms. Belle, images began to form in my minds eye, and along with those images, emotions. Some long ago forgotten that now begin to stir in the dark recesses of my mind. Ms. Bell has used her master of words to bring events of the past and present to life; bringing to the reader a feeling of joy, sadness, pain, and happiness; also a smile to your face, a chuckle, a tear to your eye, and a burning rage. About the Author

Catherin Elizabet Belle was born in a Santa Fe boxcar, on a side railroad line near the town of Sweetwater, Texas. Her youth was spent on the family farm and ranch near the German community of Rowena, Texas. During her life, Ms Belle has attended numerous educational facilities, where she earned her degrees; but she insists that her best education came from the “School of Hard Knocks.” Ms Belle’s professional career has been a kaleidoscope of experiences in varied career fields. Until in 2005 she shut the doors on her desktop publishing business and retired. In the spring of 2006 Ms Belle moved to Pensacola, Florida with her husband. Ms Belle now enjoys gardening, playing with miniature dachshunds, reading, listening to music and writing poetry. Ms Belle firmly believes that “Each day is an adventure and should be enjoyed to the fullest”.
