About the Book

Monica is a young ambitious woman trying to fi nd her way in life, where she belong, the type of man to love and establish a career. She is a smart girl and typically did the right thing, but somewhere along the way she got caught in between choosing happiness or love. Through some bad decisions, wrong turns and poor choice in men, Monica eventually found her way back to doing what was right all along. Rico is a smooth talking charmer, destined for the NBA who could have any girl he wants. He got to a place in his life where not just any old girl would do, he wanted someone who loved him just for him and not what he could do for them. The question is will he let go of his old ways to make the right relationship work in time.

About the Author

I was born in Waco Texas in 1981. I’m married with one child and another on the way. I received my Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration in 2004. Through a few life complications, I ended up moving to Atlanta, GA. and there is where I started writing my fi rst book in the beginning of 2008. At fi rst the purpose of my writings was to release a lot of hurt, pain, and anger I felt from some hardships I was dealing with at the time. As time went on, what started out as a journal later evolved into a novel.
