Sometime a reflection is just that, what you see is what you get. But other times there is more, and you have to look deeper, harder to see what truly lies beneath. Reflectivity is a journey of discovery, life and love. Lose and gain, injustice and revenge. Sam goes on a mission of finding herself, learning how to love and be loved. Her past painful, her present undefined and her future ambiguous. Her fight to rise above will give hope when the belief is none exists.

About the Author

As a blind writer, I use what I once had the luxury of seeing to manipulate my imagination. I, as a blind person, dream with my eyes wide open. I am a mother of two beautiful girls, 12 and 8. I know they are beautiful, I feel the love, generosity and kindness I instill in them. I am an animal lover, having a zoo in my home. Dogs, cats, a guinea pig, fish, which those aren't mine, and my favorite of all, my snake, Twister. I constantly have my family reading over my shoulder, telling me I need to change this or fix that, but I love them anyways. I have loved the same man for the past 14 years, and will continue to do so. He means the world to me. My blindness was caused by my irresponsibility, as a diabetic, I refused to take care of myself when I was younger, I went blind at 19. I don’t let it keep me down, always rise above the fray and move past the pain. Enjoy reading my stories, and let me know what you think.
