About the Author

P E G G Y S U E P O S T O N , named after the Buddy Holly song, was born in Illinois. She has lived in Indiana, Colorado, Idaho and unfortunately in Kentucky and Mississippi. She received a law enforcement degree, along with forensics training after returning from the Army. She transferred her skills to claims adjudication for Kentucky and Idaho state. Witnessing how claimants were their own worse enemy on disability claims; she founded Disability Excel in 1995. Known as the “Pit Bull” for her aggressive representation, she won many cases that other attorneys couldn’t. Currently, she resides with many rescued strays; including her Pit Bull, Pup Pup and Taz.
