About the Author

James Persaud received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Open University, England and his Master’s degree in Social Science from Syracuse University. He was an established Civil Servant with the Board of Trade in London before joining the UK multinational Berger, Jenson and Nicholson as a Marketing Executive. He has held key Marketing positions with large multinational subsidiaries - Berger Paints Trinidad Limited, Barclays Bank International Trinidad and local conglomerates, Dansteel Limited and the Trinidad Express Newspapers Limited. He did consultancy work through Datacom Management Consultants Limited, a company which he founded. In addition, he has worked in the litigation departments of several large law firms on Wall Street. Currently he is employed by the State of Florida in their Telecommunications division. Mr. Persaud resides in Boynton Beach, Florida with his wife Janet and daughter Ariella.
