This Book Of Life Lessons is about what I have been through in life. As you read these poems, let them remind you of life, and change the way you think. There are many situations that are in here. Let them guide you to believe in, with God’s help, if there’s a will then there’s a way. I tell people every day, that it is only one thing they need to know, and that is, there is a God and he will bring them through anything. Put your trust in him. Don’t ever be afraid! Every day is a new chance to turn the page because life is but a book of lessons.

About the Author

My name is Elliott Marie Barnes, born in Gary, Indiana to the parents of Jesse and Da Bora Ivy on the block of 24th and Johnson. The mother of 6 children, 19 grandchildren’s and one on the way. I have had a rough but beautiful life. I am a Christian of Crossroad Baptist Church, Youth Director and Minister of music for 20 years. I have met many young people This book reflects some of the lesson earned and learned.
