About the Book
Some of the poems are based on Margaret’s memories of growing up with her sister and brothers, and the actions and antics of her children. Some poems are just pure fantasy. For instance, there are a lot of fish tales but whoever "Caught a fish a mile long when he came up to sing a song?" Or who has had a talking butterfly land on his ear? During the time Margaret taught she worked with many children and enjoyed observing them, too. Her poems are like seeing life through children’s eyes.
