About the Book

This book contains a continuation of my desire to write poems. Creating and writing poems is a process of evolution and growth. With each poem put down on paper a new and different one is to follow. I feel that poetry represents a space in time and an experience of that particular moment no matter how short or long it was. The poems in this book are descriptions and images of those experiences.

About the Author

Graham Buck was born and raised on the east end of Long Island. His college years were spent in Maine where he majored in Wildlife Biology. Graham has been a guide dog trainer for twenty years. He enjoys the environment, all animals and specifically working with dogs. Graham believes that the natural, pristine environments are the most honest. He began to write poetry in 1988 slowly putting emotions and experiences to words on paper. Over the years Graham’s poetry has gained momentum and he writes frequently. Many of Graham’s poems are a bridge to translation of his own experiences. Graham feels very strongly that this is one of the most powerful forms of expression. He writes from his home in Tarrytown, NY as well as eastern Long Island and Cape Cod.
