" I can honestly say i am not much of a reader, but this book here got my attention. I enjoyed every bit of this book. There was so much emotions and passion throughout this book. The author deserves so much more than a few reviews. This book is awesome and i cant wait to read more books written by this amazing author. "

" I don't read much but this was kinda cool, cos it was short and easy read. The story about the kid that got shot, I think its called DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER, was kinda real, I know some people who live like that and I could almost here their voices in the story. Teenagers can definitely relate cos it gets kinda real on the streets, and this story was relatable. I can see this story as a movie. The stories didn't do it for me, except for the one about the guy who lost his wife?man his kid gave him some real talk at just 6 or 8 years old, i can't remember but he was young. I think some fathers should read this one, then they might stop making excuses. Good read though. Yeah I'd recommend it to my hommies. "

" I must say out of the 4 chapters, home is where the heart is,is my favorite chapter out of the book, to read about how the charactor was spirtly guided into her career and to find the misfortune of the busuness and still find humor through it all and the best part to me was the basic simple advise of a coworker to help her move foward to receive what was there waiting on her all the time gods love,favor and fortune i hope the next purchaser will enjoy this story and the book as much as i did. "

"A must read for anyone. I got a lot out of it as I lost someone and stayed in the dumps for a while, forgetting there were other people depending on me. The story was interesting and cos I'm not a man who likes to read so much, I didn't get bored, in fact it made me want to read some more and then I ended up wishing there was another book to read?should be made into a movie, I think it would be a hit."

"I must say my favorite chapter in the book is chapter 3, 'Home is Where the Hearth is"", to read how the character was spiritually guided to her career path. And regardless of the misfortunes she experienced and the troubles she went through, she still found humor in her misfortunes of the business. My favorite part of the chapter is when she got simple advice from a friend that took her from a bad situation to a good one?.

Of all the chapters this was my favorite. Made me see myself and some of the things i'm giong through now. I realize I can use the same advice."

"I wasn't sure about Toyin being an author. I know she's a singer and love her penmanship. This is what got me into her book I was curious. In true fashion her writing made me feel I was there, I see and feel some of the things Anne was going through in 'It's Not Over Til It's Over'. That was the best story for me. It was scary how being diagnosed with cancer bring take you through so many emotional changes but I could see my daughter acting up. People always think of the person who is sick. I like that Toyin made us aware of how it also affects those around us. Would love to see this in a film. The story of the boy who saw his friend shot, was a good tool for me to give to my teenage son who is also 14. Funny how he understood the book more than what I have been telling him for years watch the company you keep. Thank you Toyin for allowing my son to finally get the message. I enjoyed that story too. Didn't think I would, but I did. Good buy. I'm going to get the download as well."

They may be direct or indirect connections in some cases but there will be something recognizable. I found the book emotionally impacting and stimulating. I would highly recommend this book. Each little short story gives a neatly package, passionate, reading experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I've always known you as a singer/songwriter and valued your writing. I love that this book has something for everyone. I'm not really a big reader, so it was kinda cool having a short and interesting read on my short hop flights. I really related to the first story 'It's Not Over Til its' Over', even though she had cancer, I think a lot of people who suffer from low self esteem could relate. And people who have gone through a bit of hibernating like me sometimes. Good read. Passed this on to a friend they loved it too. Good job."
