About the Author

Rose Hope Was born in Los Angeles, California where she and her two brothers were raised by their single mother and grandparents. Being nurtured within a housing project community with no more than the assistance of the government to rely on painted a clear picture of the life that she did not want for herself as an adult. This lead her to create a plan towards success that was constantly challenged and modified due to adverse situations caused by neighborhood environment, sudden death and homelessness. Yet… having dealt with those circumstances, it was not until the becoming of a mother and the facings of discrimination after becoming disabled due to a significant loss of vision around the age of twenty that ultimately pushed her desire to persevere, converting her into the productive citizen that she is today.
