About the Book

The Little Man with the Magic Pencil is an entertaining story about magic and adventure that will fuel your child’s imagination. The story takes place on an island called Nearie. It’s about a little man and his magical pencil and his passion for drawing and creating things. He became obsessed with his creations and soon he struggled to keep them from disappearing. His struggles continued as the colors on Nearie Island began to fade and he was powerless to fix it. All of his creations ultimately disappeared despite his tireless efforts to redraw and recreate them. His creations eventually returned when he discovered that the magic was also within him.

About the Author

Wayne Forte, originally from Guyana, South, is an imaging technician in New York City. In his free time he writes and tells stories to his kids. He discovered his passion for writing while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science. Since then, he always wanted to publish his own book. Inspired by his children, Melissa, William, and Ryan he wrote his first book, “The Little Man with the Magic Pencil” and hopes it will not be his last.
