About the Author
I was born in New Jersey in 1961; I attended Catholic schools for my first twelve years. I received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1984 at Stockton State College in New Jersey. After around fifteen years of serving food in Atlantic City’s casinos, I went back to Stockton and eventually got a second bachelor’s degree in Education and a certificate to teach Social Studies. Later I went back again in 2003 to get Master’s credits in Special Education. Today I teach Special Education in Phoenix, Arizona.
